E iarna mea!


Ultimele luni ale anului ne surprind intr-o stare de shopping, decorand, calatorind, preocupati in desfasurarea unor activitati care consuma foarte multa energie. Inutil! In loc sa ne distram in astfel de momente, de obicei ajungem sa ne simtim bolnavi, anxiosi sau depresivi. Motivul pentru care ni se intampla acest lucru, potrivit filozofiei Taoiste si medicinei traditionale chineze este tocmai programul incarcat de activitati pe care vrem sa-l respectam in acest moment al anului… cu orice pret! De ce? Lipseste sincronizarea, pierdem din vedere legatura cu ciclul natural al Pamantului. 
Avem mai putina energie de consumat pe timpul iernii. 
Daca ne implicam in activitati potrivite pentru perioada verii – a sta pana mai tarziu, a opera cu un volum mai mare de munca – nu e de mirare ca forta interioara alocata pregatirilor pentru sarbatori se epuizeaza mai repede.
Filozofia Taoista conceptualizeaza echilibrul universal in termeni de Yin si Yang – fortele complementare care guverneaza universul. Caracteristicile lui Yin sunt urmatoarele: cool, ud, incet, feminin si linistit. Pe cand pentru Yang acestea sunt chiar opusul: cald, uscat, repede, masculin, extrovert. Iarna este sezonul Yin, timpul pentru a depozita si conserva energia, precum ursul se retrage la hibernare sau un fermier isi pune mancarea in camara pentru lunile reci care se anunta.

In cultura agrarienilor, oamenii petrec cele mai scurte si intunecate zile inauntru langa foc, consumand mancare calda si impartasind diferite povesti alaturi de familiile lor. Disonanta dintre semnificatia iernii, introspectiva, Yin prin natura si ritmul frenetic in care unii oameni isi petrec sarbatorile, pot contribui la dezvoltarea unor tulburari afective sezoniere precum depresia, epuizarea si alte manifestari. O lipsa de armonie spirituala…

Solstitiul de iarna, la doar 3-4 zile inaintea Craciunului este considerata cea mai intunecata, “cea mai Yin zi a anului”. In loc sa ne indreptam atentia spre interior (pace), alegem sa sarbatorim prin exces si activitati de tip Yang. Acest lucru creste in mod artificial stresul si multe persoane dau vina pe sezon ca rezultat al starii pe care o resimt.
Pentru a avea un echilibru pe timpul iernii, activeaza instinctul de stocare al energiei Yang. Practica Yoga ca tonic, cu efect de restaurare si conservare a energiei, tai chi, qigong si mersul pe jos sunt cele mai bune practici Yin pentru sezon.  Gandeste-te la aceste practici ca o investitie in pachetul tau de energie. Nu-ti folosi toata energia (limitata, de altfel) pe care o ai iarna cu alte activitati la care adaugi stres.
A manca alimente picante (Yang) este o alta modalitate de a creste energia. Alege preparate Yang la foc mic, fasole, legume, radacinoase si bauturi calde. Adauga si condimente Yang, cum ar fi usturoi, ghimbir, piper negru, cuisoare si busuioc pentru a spori efectul de incalzire. Reduce consumul alimentelor Yin: legume crude, salata verde si bauturi reci.

Daca gasesti modalitati linistite, modeste de a petrece sarbatorile, nu vei mai simti nevoia sa eliberezi tensiunea, suprasolicitarea ori depasirea exagerata bugetului. De asemenea, vei avea mai mult timp si energie pentru a tine legatura cu prietenii apropiati si cu familia. Detaseaza-te de isteria cumparaturilor in mall, de carduri bancare pe care nu le poti gestiona, de limite de credit depasite… Sansele de a gasi linistea la fiecare pas sunt mai mari cultivand natura Yin a iernii.

4 motive sa participi la un retreat Yoga

E momentul sa schimbi studioul la care mergi si sa iesi in natura. Sa te bucuri de peisaj, sa faci yoga intr-un weekend prelungit in aer liber la mare sau la munte.



1. O NOUA PERSPECTIVA
O experienta care iti ofera oportunitatea de a-ti schimba modul in care privesti viata, felul in care te simti si intreaga perspectiva despre lume. Poti invata multe lucruri atunci cand ai timp sa faci tot ceea ce iti doresti. Lasa in urma rutina ta zilnica si astfel poti vedea lucrurile intr-o alta lumina.


2. RELAX! ENJOY!
Intr-un retreat ce sa faci? Primul lucru - sa te relaxezi. Te bucuri de locuri noi, faci yoga si toate lucrurile care iti plac.

 
3. LUME NOUA
Cateva conversatii cu persoane noi, interese diferite sau lucruri comune in timp ce privesti un peisaj de poveste. Sentimentul de comunitate aduce invataturi, voie buna, destindere.


4. TU
Faci prea multe. E timpul pentru pauza bine meritata de la stilul tau de viata si o carte buna de rasfoit in liniste. Cateva clipe de relaxare sunt binevenite. In aceste zile nu trebuie sa raspunzi la telefon sa rezolvi problemele de la munca, sa faci cumparaturi, care stim ca pot fi cateodata foarte obositoare.

Unplug Meditation (Sort of...)

Laptop inchis. Televizorul? E pornit... Nu e emisiunea ta preferata, nu-l bagi in seama. Telefonul pus pe silence; vezi mai tarziu cine te-a sunat.  Tocmai ti-ai gasit cateva minute pentru tine.  Uita-te in jur. Cu siguranta gasesti un metru patrat disponibil. Incepe sa-ti construiesti un spatiu!

ORICE obiect poate fi plasat in spatiul tau sacru atat timp cat iti transmite stare de bine si te pune in legatura cu sinele.
Lasa-ti intuitia sa aleaga elementele si respinge orice insulta adusa propriul suflet.
Nu esti fan al betigaselor parfumate? Lasa-le deoparte! Adauga un alt obiect, indiferent cat de ciudata ti s-ar parea alegerea.
Tu decizi, spatiul este numai al tau! Nimeni nu te vede. Nimeni nu te judeca; pune si acel iepuras roz norocos pe care il tii pe post de breloc.
Cu cat iti asculti mai mult instinctele, cu atat mai puternic va fi spatiul pe care il construiesti pentru relaxare si meditatie.

Aaa... poate adaugi si cateva alune, biscuiti sau un fruct... e OK sa vrei sa rontai in spatiul tau! :)

Bio: 

Nicoletta is based in Bucharest (Romania) and has been practicing yoga since 1991. 

Certified yoga teacher, she's specialized in different styles of yoga, including Partner & Community Yoga, Kids & Family Yoga, Prenatal/Postnatal Yoga, Wise Women Yoga.

She's running a yoga studio in Bucharest, teaches yoga and organizes workshops and retreats in different locations. She consider yoga as a tool for evolutive mind, healthy body and a free spirit.

Sharon based in Rishpon (Israel), began practicing yoga in 1998.

Now teaches classes, workshops and retreats worldwide. A certified Yoga instructor since 2006, by several Teacher's Training courses in New York, India and Israel.

"My classes includes skills of meditating, discussions of theory and philosophy of yoga 

and fun sequences with many opportunities for deepen your practice - stretches and twists, balance and inversions. The asanas will be supported with informative guidance and hands-on adjustments. Practicing yoga teaches me courage and love. Through yoga I explore my body, mind and soul, and my environment, over and over again. Teaching yoga teaches me observation and love."


Yiannis

The personal path in therapy of Yiannis Katsanas started in SH in the summer of 2008, and he had the opportunity to follow almost every course of Thai yoga massage since then.

He started from 2010 assisting in the Thai massage retreats, and he does constantly until now, mainly for his beloved teachers Takis Oikonomou and David Lutt.

He is an Osteo Thai expert, one of the few that have complete the full training of a very precise and effective therapy, that has influenced his view. His creativity and at the same time his precision on the massage, in combination with his calmness and humbleness, made him a very appreciated therapist in the Sunshine House community.
He is also influenced by the study of Cranio sacral and he is a recognized reflexologist, and a Lomi Lomi practitioner.

Transport is not included. The nearest airport is Athena. The nearest point of interest (8 km.) is Halkida, also a lovely city with lots of taverns, port and seafront promenade area.
